Huys Europa

When you go through the Piet Hein tunnel on the A10 and turn right into the Piet Heinkade you experience it right away. This broad lane, lined on the right-hand side with a mixture of historic warehouses, sleek futureproof apartment hotels and offices, does not feel very Dutch somehow. Its unique atmosphere was achieved by combining living, working and entertainment. One of the office buildings is Huys Europa, a modern office building with 4 floors and 12 luxury, upmarket apartments above it. One could say that the location of this building is unique. The main entrance is south facing, on the side of the city centre. The other side of the building overlooks the IJ and is located right on the quay. So on the one side, you have the city at your feet, and on the other you get to experience Amsterdam’s unique maritime atmosphere.
